Hudson Bay is nestled in the valley between the Porcupine and Pasquia Hills. This area boasts a diverse package of magnificent scenery, unspoiled wilderness and an abundance of wildlife from small birds to big game animals like the moose. In fact, there are so many moose in this area that Hudson Bay has been named "Moose Capital of the World"!

This area offers you a multitude of year round recreational activities. Whether you want to head out on horseback for a trail ride or wagon trek, try your hand at fishing for brook trout on a leisurely canoe or rubber raft ride down the Red Deer River, photograph wildlife in their natural habitat, settle back and enjoy a romantic sleigh or hay ride, discover the thrill of snowmobiling in fresh powder snow, experience the majestic power of sled dogs guiding you through virgin forest or kick up your heels and enjoy our cultural festivities - Hudson Bay has it all!
