The Stepping Stones Playschool is a non-profit community playschool. The playschool focuses on social development of children ages 3 & 4. During the playschool children are able to interact, do crafts, have story time, snacks and play time. The playschool operates from September- June.
The 2012-13 Schedule/fees are: 3 Years old- $25.00/month 4 Years old- $50.00/month Weekly Schedule: 3 years old- Mondays from 9:00am-10:30am 4 years old- Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00am-11:30am 4 years old (Group 2)- Wednesday & Fridays 9:00am-11:30am Crawlers & Toddlers Contact: Tawnya Tremblay at 865-2611 Rena Huston at 865- 3942 Crawlers and Toddlers is a program for any preschool age children. Children learn to interact with each other and parents get together to socialize and support each other. They meet once a week on Mondays from 10:45 a.m. to 12:00 at the Blake Beattie Building upstairs above Cumberland College. A special room is set up with books, toys, dress up clothes, etc. Yearly fees are $25.00 and there is also a drop in fee of $1.00. Hudson Bay Child Care Co-operative Corner of 6th Avenue and Prince Street. Phone: 865-2655 The Hudson Bay Child Care Co-operative is a non-profit, parent controlled co-operative. The Board of Directors is made up of parents using the Day Care Centre. The Centre is licensed for 30 preschool and school age children from 18 months to 12 years of age. The Centre has a full-time, part-time, daily, and hourly fee, and is open from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Day Care has a very safe child-oriented and stimulating environment designed to meet children’s physical, emotional, and social needs. The facility is well equipped with fenced yard and outdoor toys and equipment. The Day Care is licensed by the Saskatchewan Social Services Day Care Branch. In 1998 the Day Care purchased a dwelling at the corner of 6th Avenue and Prince Street. The building was remodeled to meet all codes of the Social Services Branch. |
