Heritage Day is held on the third Saturday in August every year. August 21, 2010 will be the 24th annual celebration. Events include a pancake breakfast, parade, pie baking contest, old time country music, food booth, bread baking in clay oven, train and wagon rides, and a costume contest. There will be several demonstrations throughout the day including woodturning, flour milling, shingle making, ploughing, model case steam engine, sawmill, rope making and threshing. There will also be children's activities including: a decorated bicycle contest, coloring contest, fish pond, sack races and more.

In conjunction with the Hudson Bay Photo Club Age Groups: 1. Under 8 2. 9-12 years 3. 13-17 years 4. 18 – Adult Cash prizes will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placing in each age group, with an overall People’s Choice chosen on Heritage Day Theme: Old/Vintage/Black and White/Antique Deadline for entry at Heritage Park: August 13, 2010 The bottom form needs to be filled out at entry time. Size: Printed 8x10 in a plastic protective sleeve (only picture will be judged) Pictures and prizes can be picked up the week of August 23-27, 2010
